The upcoming Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers TV anime series has announced eight new cast members. The series will premiere on January 6, 2026, and will be split into two cours.

Mirei and Ryusei are members of DST and support the Samurai Troopers in their battle. Ramaga, Sasuke, Saizo, Kamanosuke, Seikai, and Isa are demons and enemies of the Samurai Troopers.
Additionally, the opening and ending theme songs and artists were also announced. Japanese rock band Blank Paper will sing the series’s opening theme song “YOAKE,” and the eight-member boy group ONE OR EIGHT will sing the ending theme song titled “POWER.”
Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers is a sequel to the 1980s Yoroi Den Samurai Troopers (also known as Ronin Warriors in English) series, with a premise that says that after the seal to the demon world was broken and the demons are invading Earth, five young samurai warriors come together to save humanity.
The original Yoroi Den Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) was created by Hajime Yatate and animated by Sunrise. It ran from 1988 to 1999 and has inspired several OVAs and a manga adaptation. Prime Video is streaming the original series and describes the series as:
After a thousand years of exile, Talpa, ruler of the Netherworld, returns to claim the Earth as his own. The only thing that can stop him and his minions are five young men and their mystical suits of armor.
