You’d better get the limo out front, because we are going back in time to the Hannah Montana era! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of its most iconic shows, Disney is pulling back the curtain with Miley Cyrus, bringing us the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which explores the show’s impact and offers viewers never-before-seen content from the original series.
“Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection,” Cyrus said in a press release about the project. “The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years.”
Produced by HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions, the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special is more than just an anniversary celebration for longtime fans of the show; to get fans into the spirit, Disney+ has released an official Hannah Montana Collection—not to mention a nonstop stream featuring all four seasons of Hannah Montana, as well as Hannah Montana: The Movie, and Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.
