A new visual has been released for the ongoing Wash It All Away TV anime series, spotlighting the lead heroine Wakana Kinme dressed in a yukata with a colorful sky of fireworks. The anime began broadcasting in Japan on January 5, 2026.

Kenta Onishi (Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest) is directing the anime series, with Toko Machida (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!) as series composer and scriptwriter, and Azuma Tozawa as character designer. Okuruto Noboru is handling the animation production.

The slice of life manga series by Mitsuru Hattori (Sankarea: Undying Love creator) was serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine from July 7, 2017 to June 2, 2023. Eleven total tankobon volumes were published in Japan, with a 12th volume set to be released on March 25, 2026. Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga for English release and it is also being available digitally on the Manga Up! app service.
