The official Twitter/X account of the Wistoria: Wand and Sword TV anime series announced that it has added voice actress Mai Nakahara to the second season’s voice cast. Season two is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 12, 2026.
Nakahara will be voicing the character Clairie Serah, who will debut in the second season’s first episode (13th overall episode in the series).

Tatsuya Yoshihara (previously director for Season 1) is the chief director for the anime’s second season, with Hideaki Nakano (new, Devils’ Line) as director, Sayaka Ono (reprising) as character designer and chief animation director, and Yuki Hayashi (reprising) as music composer. BN Pictures and ACTAS (both returning, but with reversed credit order) are in charge of the animation production.
The first season of Wistoria: Wand and Sword premiered in July 2024 and ended in September 2024. It ran for one cour containing 12 total episodes.
The adventure fantasy manga series is written by Danmachi author Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on December 9, 2020. Fourteen tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of November 2025, with a 15th volume set to be released on April 9, 2026. Kodansha USA licensed the manga for English release in 2021.
