The vice-presidents of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Sankar Viswanathan and Sekar Viswanathan paid floral tributes to statue of poet Thiruvalluvar at its campus on the occasion of Thiruvalluvar Day here on Friday.
According to a press release, the statue and portrait were garlanded by staff and faculty members of VIT. They expressed reverence to the great poet and philosopher on the occasion, the release said.
