Virgin Media O2 has kickstarted the year with a new freebie for viewers. The telecom is offering free access to Premier Sports Rugby, the UK’s only dedicated 24/7 rugby channel.
If you want to catch all of the action from club rugby coverage across the UK, this is the only channel to watch. While Premier Sports is available as a standalone app to download on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs, and other brands, you’ll need to subscribe for £10.99 per month.
But if you have a Virgin Media TV V6, TV 360, or Stream set-top box under your telly, you’ll get access for free.
Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, David Bouchier said: “As the only Pay TV operator to provide this, we are demonstrating our commitment to give our customers the very best access to the content they love, and to further enhancing our sports offering with coverage of the world’s biggest club competitions at their fingertips.”
This comes after the company announced it’ll pay for your phone and broadband bills in a blockbuster giveaway. They also unveiled two new music channels — Stringray Classica via Channel 296, Stingray DJAZZ on Channel 297.
