The announcement comes after a similar notice issued earlier for March 16 was cancelled. In that earlier notice, PAA had announced temporary airspace restrictions in the Lahore Flight Information Region along with a suspension of flight operations at Islamabad International Airport during the same two-hour window.

However, the authority later issued an update cancelling the March 16 notice and confirmed that normal flight operations would continue. Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines for updates regarding their flights.
