Stan has today released the official trailer for The Walsh Sisters, a new comedy drama inspired by Marian Keyes’ bestselling novels and centred on the ups and downs of five very different siblings.
The six part series brings the Walsh family’s humour, heartbreak and long running tensions to life as it explores the bonds that hold Anna, Rachel, Maggie, Claire and Helen together.
Set in Dublin, The Walsh Sisters follows Anna, Rachel, Maggie, Claire and Helen as they deal with the peaks and troughs of their late 20s and 30s.

It is a sisterhood defined by shared history, fierce loyalty, old wounds, and plenty of in jokes, with heartbreak, grief, addiction and parenthood shaping their messy, intertwined lives.

Harland (Derry Girls) leads the cast as troubled Anna Walsh, joined by rising talent Caroline Menton (Oddity) as party girl Rachel and Danielle Galligan (House of Guinness) as oldest sister Claire.
BAFTA nominee Máiréad Tyers (Extraordinary) steps into the role of fearless youngest sister Helen, while writer performer Stefanie Preissner plays family white sheep Maggie.
Preissner also heads the writing team, penning four episodes of the season, with award winning writer Kefi Chadwick (Rivals) completing the lineup with two episodes.
Aidan Quinn (Michael Collins) adds a dash of Hollywood to the family mix as long suffering Jack “Daddy” Walsh, starring alongside Carrie Crowley (An Cailín Ciúin) as eccentric Mammy Walsh.
Debi Mazar (Batman Forever) appears as Chaquie, with Gina Moxley (The Patient Gloria) playing Josephine and Jay Duffy (Wheel of Time) joining as Rachel’s complicated love interest Luke.
