Tottenham’s squad absolutely despise Igor Tudor but the interim coach will be allowed time to turn the ship around, GB News can reveal.
It has been a disastrous start to life for the Croatian in north London, who has lost all four of his matches in charge in humiliating fashion.
Tuesday night’s 5-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League tie was just the latest in shoddy results, which saw the coach take off goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky after 17 minutes following two high-profile errors.
After losing 4-1 to Arsenal and suffering losses to Crystal Palace and Fulham, Tottenham find themselves a point above the relegation zone and in serious risk of dropping down into the Championship.

It has led to rumours that Tottenham are thinking of sacking Tudor, who was brought in last month until the end of the season after Thomas Frank was axed.
GB News can exclusively reveal that Tudor is safe from the sack for now – but that could change before the end of the month.

Tottenham’s sole aim is to remain in the Premier League and were already willing to sacrifice their Champions League campaign to ensure they do so.
The defeat to Atletico Madrid, while miserable for the travelling fans, is nothing more than a distraction for the Spurs hierarchy, who also understand that the weekend trip to Anfield to face Liverpool may also already be a lost cause.
Tottenham already have one of the biggest injury lists in the Premier League with key players such as Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison missing.
Tuesday night’s defeat might also see Cristian Romero and Joao Palhinha added to that list, having suffered a nasty clash of heads towards the end of the evening.
With Micky van de Ven suspended, Spurs’ defence is seriously depleted and any kind of result at Anfield would be welcomed as a surprise.
Tottenham’s next match against Atletico is also not on their list of objectives with all eyes instead on the weekend against Nottingham Forest at home.
Igor Tudor is fighting for his job at Tottenham despite being placed in interim charge

That Premier League match on March 22 will effectively decide Tudor’s fate and a defeat to Vitor Pereira’s men will almost certainly see the Croatian axed, GB News can reveal.
However, GB News can further reveal that the Tottenham board do not have any replacement in mind and will use this time to draw up a list of potential short-term options.
One of those included is Ryan Mason, who has worked as interim coach before after Jose Mourinho was sacked in 2021 and again in 2023 when Cristian Stellini (another interim coach) was axed.
But the problems run deeper for Tudor than just preserving his job with the squad actively taking a huge dislike to him.
GB News can reveal that most of the players are furious with the Croatian’s coaching style, which has been deemed stand-offish and distant at a time where many key players believe they need unity and positivity.
Tudor’s management came under fire on Tuesday night when he roped Kinsky off in embarrassing fashion and failed to acknowledge him as he walked off the pitch.
There was also a flashpoint when he took Djed Spence off, who sat down on the bench before getting up, walking over the coach and offering an almost-sarcastic handshake after being the latest player to be completely ignored from being subbed off.

Vice-captain Van de Ven laid bare the problems at the club in a candid interview, admitting: “It’s actually a doomsday scenario. Everything that could go wrong went wrong [vs Atletico].”
“It’s just really tough, and now we also have an important match this weekend that I won’t be able to play in because I’m suspended.
“It’s a really terrible period, I can tell you that. It’s really, really awful.”
Several players are already planning to leave Tottenham this summer, citing the toxic environment. Romero and Van de Ven are among those looking to depart.
