Titan Manga has exclusively announced with Anime Trending that it will publish the first English print volume of the manga adaptation of On the Tenth Year, the Transferee Who Gave Up on Returning Home Becomes the Protagonist. Volume one is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2026.
The manga series by Shukama is an adaptation of the fantasy adventure light novel series written by Hisume and illustrated by Yoshiro Ambe. It began serialization in Mag Garden’s Mag Comi website on August 30, 2023. Four total tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of August 2025.
The light novel series was first published by Mag Garden in March 2021 and concluded in February 2022. Three total volumes were released in Japan. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro and Kakuyomu in June 2020 and ended in March 2023.
