The upcoming The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)! TV anime has received a trailer and a key visual. The former includes a preview of the newly announced opening song “Compass was Tomei” by VTuber Ryushen.
It was also announced that Yoko Hikasa, Sora Tokui, Kazuyuki Okitsu, Akiho Suzumoto, Chiemi Tanaka, and Yukari Tamura are part of the cast.

The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, But an Appraiser (Provisional)! (Saikyo no Shokugyo wa Yusha demo Kenja demonaku Kanteishi (Kari) rashii desu yo?) is based on the Alphapolis-published light novel series written by Atekichi and illustrated by Akira Shigaraki. There is also a manga, which has the following synopsis from Alphamanga:
Hibiki, a high school student who was suddenly transferred to another world, wanders alone in a vast grassland of a fantasy world where monsters inhabit. All he has are non-combat skills such as “Appraisal”! From a hopeless situation, he is saved by encounters, and his all-powerful abilities blossom! An another world adventure tale of miraculous reversal cheats burst forth!
The story began as a web novel in 2016. The light novel series started in 2017 and has eight volumes as of October 2025.
