The upcoming The Ramparts of Ice TV anime has received a trailer and key visual. An April 2 broadcast start date was also announced.
Additionally, it was revealed that Netflix will be streaming the show weekly.
The Ramparts of Ice (Kori no Joheki) is based on the manga by Kocha Agasawa, which was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022 via LINE Manga. The story follows Koyuki Hikawa, a girl who doesn’t do well with human interactions and is walled off from others.
The manga received a special award at the 2nd Shueisha Shojo Manga Grand Prix (which has LINE’s involvement) and placed first in Comic Natalie’s Tateyomi Manga Award 2024 in the Completed category. Shueisha published 14 volumes under the Jump Comics label between July 2023 to February 2025.
