“I know where they are…”
Back in October, we speculated that Renny Harlin’s The Strangers trilogy was in serious trouble. Following the disappointing box-office and critical lashing of the second entry, we pondered if the already completed third chapter would even see release.
Well, we’re going to have to eat our words with the arrival of the first teaser!
To the surprise of many, Lionsgate are pressing ahead with a full theatrical release for The Strangers – Chapter 3.
In the teaser, we see Madelaine Petsch return one last time as Maya, the sole survivor of two brutal assaults from the titular villains.
Using her newly-honed survival instincts, Maya is seen trying to continue her crusade. Having killed one of her relentless pursuers, Maya is hungry for more, and this time she’s hunting them.
The brief clip details Maya’s search for allies in her fight, and she seemingly finds them in the local sheriff, and a young man she previously mistrusted.
Ending on an intriguing shot of Petsch wearing one of the iconic masks, the teaser does a decent job sowing the seeds of curiosity about the film.
Alongside Petsch, cast members Gabriel Basso, Richard Brake, and Ema Horvath return for the final instalment of The Strangers trilogy.
With Lionsgate surprising everyone with their continued commitment to this trilogy, will that be enough to get people into theatres one last time?
We’ll find out when The Strangers – Chapter 3 releases on February 6th 2026.
