The upcoming GoHands-produced The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System TV anime will begin airing on July 2 (effectively July 3 at 12:26 AM JST) and have two consecutive cours. In the meantime, a main trailer that highlights the show’s core characters and visual sensibilities and a main visual have been released.
The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System (Tsuiho sareta Tensei Jukishi wa Game Chishiki de Muso suru) is based on Lee Brocco‘s manga adaptation of the light novel series written by Nekoko and illustrated by Jaian (both are published by Kodansha). Seven Seas Entertainment describes the synopsis of the manga as such:
When 15-year-old Elma manifested the class of Heavy Knight during the “Divine Blessing Ceremony,” he was quickly chastised and punished for picking such a defective class. Born into a lineage of Sword Saints, the decision leads Elma to be stripped of his position as next head of Edvan Household and quickly exiled.
But, while others see his choice as cowardly and stupid, Elma knows there’s something special about the unbalanced status and so-called useless skills of the Heavy Knight. And he knows this because he’s actually been reincarnated into this world—a world that was just a video game in his past life. Because of his familiarity of the game world, Elma knows that the Heavy Knight class is the strongest to ever exist. And he plans to prove it. Using the knowledge from his previous life, Elma begins his journey to game the system and become the ultimate hero!

The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System was originally a web novel that began serialization on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2021. The manga debuted on Yanmaga Web in 2022 and joined Young Magazine in 2024. K Manga has the manga in English digitally.
