Two more cast members have been announced for The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration TV anime series at an AnimeJapan 2026 stage event. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2026.
The latest cast additions include Kaito Ishikawa as Yalmo Parnila (left) and Chika Anzai (right) as Serafina Parnila.
They join a main voice cast that stars Yui Ishikawa as Elsa Eukrainen and Soma Saito as Julius Royus.
Hitoyuki Matsui is directing the series with Tomoko Konporu (Kimi ni Todoke – From Me To You) as series composer and Yuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) as character designer. ZERO-G and GRASS are in charge of the animation production.
The original romance fantasy manga series is written by Kei Misawa and illustrated by Natsu Nizuno. It has been serialized as a web comic on Flex Comix’s COMIC Polaris since February 24, 2021. Five tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of March 2026. Its Japanese title is Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai Shitekimasu.
The manga also inspired a light novel adaptation in October 2021.
