The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie is a compilation of the two-season The Dangers in My Heart TV anime that includes post-Season 2 material. The highlighted new content are a live performance scene of Kana and a certain “special” moment between Kyotaro and main heroine Anna Yamada.
The romantic comedy anime is based on the Akita Shoten-published manga by Norio Sakurai, which Seven Seas Entertainment describes as such:
Quirky courtship awaits in this comedy nominated for the 2020 Manga Taisho Award!
Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
The Dangers in My Heart manga began in 2018 and has 13 volumes as of
