The Apothecary Diaries Exhibition to Debut in Malaysia on April 11

The Apothecary Diaries Exhibition will bring the world of Mao Mao and Jinshi to Malaysia starting April 11 (GMT+8). It’ll be hosted at INCUBASE Arena Malaysia and will run until July 12 (GMT+8).

The highlights mentioned in the press release include Maomao’s Clandestine Cabinet, which reflects the heroine’s obsession with pharmaceutical matters, and displays of Maomao and Jinshi’s costumes. Another section is dedicated to Lakan and Fengxian (via a recreation of the scene of a Go game), while there are anime production materials (reproductions of sketches, storyboards, and character sheets) to see elsewhere.

There’s also an investigation-themed exhibit that takes visitors “into the pulse-pounding core of investigation, where the line between Coincidence‘ and ‘Inevitability‘ is shattered.”

Any ticket owner will get a random The Apothecary Diaries Character Clear Card (out of nine designs, and said to be exclusive to Malaysia) while stocks last. Some ticket types will throw in metal bookmarks, while others will also provide a food and drink set from the accompanying themed café.

The exhibition was announced last October, along with the unveiling of the anime’s split cour third season and movie.
