A character visual for The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 has been revealed. It features the top halves of the character design previews of Amane Fujimiya, Mahiru Shiina, Itsuki Akasawa, and Chitose Shirakawa that are featured on the anime website’s character section.

The anime is set to begin airing on April 3. It is based on Saeki-san‘s romantic comedy light novels, which Yen Press describes as such:
A HEAVENLY ENCOUNTER! Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades-she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school. Everything changes‚ however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novel series, which is published under SB Creative’s GA Bunko label. started in 2019 and has 11 main volumes as of 2025. For the first volume, current illustrator Hanekoto only drew the cover art while Hazano Watake drew the rest of the illustrations. There is a manga adaptation of the main story and another of the short stories in Volume 5.5.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten started out as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in 2018. Season 1 of the anime aired from January to March 2023.
