At least one person is dead following bombings of Middle Eastern airports while massive explosions rock the Israeli city of Tel Aviv as Iran retaliates against US-Israeli attacks.
One missile was filmed by 7NEWS slamming into a building in Tel Aviv about 11pm local time (8am AEDT) as sirens blare out, warning locals to assemble in bomb shelters.

The missile managed to pass through Israel’s air-defence system, the Iron Dome, causing a fireball that stretched as tall as a nearby skyscraper.
Iran’s retaliation is a technological escalation from Israel’s conflict with Gaza, utilising missiles capable of travelling up to five-times faster than the speed of sound.
During a 12-day war last year, only 15 per cent of 500 Iranian missiles were intercepted by the Iron Dome, causing the deaths of 30 people.
Further footage has been spread across social media of destruction at Dubai International Airport as it was reportedly struck by an Iranian missile.
Dubai Airport confirmed four staff had been injured and are receiving medical attention.

The conflict has caused chaos for travellers around the world with all flights in and out of the airport “suspended until further notice”.
“Passengers must not travel to the airport and are advised to contact their airline directly for the latest flight updates,” Dubai Airport said.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as available.”
The Fairmont Hotel was also pictured ablaze after a drone is believed to have exploded into the building.
UAE officials confirmed one man had died from falling missile debris at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. Seven others have been injured in the attack.
Locals in both cities have been evacuated to bomb shelters as the Middle East teeters on the brink of all-out war after Iran was bombarded by attacks from both US and Israeli forces under Operation Epic Fury.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is believed to have been killed hours into the first volley of attacks, according to Israeli officials and US President Donald Trump who described him as “one of the most evil people in history”.
Sources close to Khamenei’s office have refuted the claim, however, telling state media “with confidence that the leader of the revolution is steadfast and firm in commanding the field”.
While the confirmed death toll continues to rise in Iran, the country’s ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani told a meeting of the Security Council that more than 100 children had been killed in a strike on a school.
