The star was the top artist on the platform in 2025
Genius released its statistics for the most-searched songs on the platform — and several Taylor Swift tracks ranked high on its charts. According to the new data, Swift was the most-searched artist, The Life of a Showgirl was the top album, and a line from “Wood” ranked second in total views.
The Life of a Showgirl garnered a whopping 29 million views. Meanwhile, Swift overall earned the most pageviews on Genius at 46 million views, followed by three hip-hop stars: Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Drake, in that order.
The second-most viewed song lyric on the platform was also by Swift: “He ah-matized me and opened my eyes.” It’s a line from the bridge of “Wood,” the NSFW lyric about the star’s fiancé Travis Kelce.
Overall, “Wood” ranked as the platform’s fourth most-searched song, trailing HUNTR/X’s “Golden” at Number One, Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at Number Two, and Radiohead’s “Creep” at Number Three. Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” also cracked the Top 10, landing at Number Six.
As for the top lyric overall? It goes to “Ayy, Mustard on the beat, ho” from Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.”
