A well known comedy and radio act is stepping into a familiar interview format this Friday night in Sydney, with a tightly held special taping already sparking quiet curiosity.
Tommy Little will front the one off pilot, with the project understood to be under consideration as 10 explores interview formats in a similar vein to Sam Pang Tonight, while Pang remains busy across other commitments.
An audience call out sent out on Tuesday, and shared by Tommy with his social media followers, invited attendees to a one night only studio taping, with limited seats and minimal details revealed.

The special taping will take place this Friday night, 27 March, running for several hours at Network 10 Studios in Pyrmont, Sydney, with an intimate audience in attendance for the secret recording.

A source familiar with the project told TV Blackbox the format leans into a tried and tested interview style, one that has been done locally before with mixed success, with cautious optimism around how it may land.
With Sam Pang yet to return to screens this year due to commitments across Seven’s The Front Bar and new ABC comedy Ground Up, the pilot comes as 10 continues to assess its entertainment slate, exploring new options as several formats have not returned this year.
Tommy Little is no stranger to 10 audiences, having appeared on The Project, Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen and Taskmaster Australia. If the format connects, it’s understood the network could commission a run of episodes later this year.
Audience spots are limited for the one night only taping, with registrations now open for those aged 18 and over, register HERE.
