Stan has today announced it has acquired the Australian rights to new U.S. crime series Memory of a Killer, which premieres down under on Australia Day, at the same time as its U.S. debut.
The 10 part Fox drama stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Doyle, a contract killer leading a carefully balanced double life while hiding a dangerous and deeply personal secret.
He is joined by Michael Imperioli, who plays Dutch, Angelo’s oldest friend and a respected chef whose restaurant doubles as a front for criminal activity.

Inspired by the Belgian novel De Zaak Alzheimer and the award-winning 2003 film adaptation, the psychological thriller also stars Gina Torres, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush, Daniel David Stewart and Peter Gadiot.
Executive producers include Aaron Zelman, Glenn Kessler, Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, Cathy Schulman, David Schulner and series lead Patrick Dempsey, alongside Arthur Sarkissian, Martin Campbell and Peter Bouckaert.
