SPA confirms global television leaders locked in for SCREEN FOREVER 40

Four of global television’s most influential decision makers are heading to the Gold Coast, giving Screen Producers Australia’s SCREEN FOREVER 40 serious international weight this April.

Screen Producers Australia yesterday confirmed that a quartet of high profile global executives will take part in the milestone 40th edition of SCREEN FOREVER, reinforcing the event’s role as a key meeting point for international screen business and collaboration.

Joining the line up are Natalie Vinet, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Content Unscripted at Boat Rocker Studios; Elsie Choi, EVP and Head of Scripted TV at CJ ENM America and Studio Dragon Global; Marci Wiseman, CEO and Executive Producer at The Wise Group; and Lauren Jackson, Vice President Scripted Content at All3Media International.

SPA CEO Matthew Deaner (pictured above) said the calibre of international participation highlights the conference’s growing influence and the appetite for Australian partnerships.

“The participation of Natalie, Elsie, Marci and Lauren underscores the strength of Australia’s creative sector and the confidence global companies have in the stories and businesses emerging from this market.”

Vinet, who oversees international unscripted sales, strategy and acquisitions across the Americas and Europe for Boat Rocker Studios, said she is keen to connect with commissioners and explore new collaborations.

“We’re building an amazing slate of premium unscripted projects, and we have a robust catalogue of content across all genres.”

Choi, whose career spans development and producing award winning documentary and narrative features that premiered at Sundance, Tribeca and Toronto, said CJ ENM America is eager to work with Australian producers on distinctive stories with global reach.

Wiseman, formerly co President of Blumhouse Television and now leading The Wise Group, said the SPA Connect Market offers a strong forum to explore independent television and co production opportunities across the region.

Jackson works closely with producers at All3Media International to acquire and shape scripted series for global distribution.

SCREEN FOREVER 40 takes place on Queensland’s Gold Coast from 28 to 30 April 2026.
