With a market cap of Rs. 1,026 crores, shares of Prostarm Info Systems Limited declined around 4.5 percent to Rs. 174.25 on Friday, as against its previous closing of Rs. 182.50 on BSE.
Prostarm Info Systems made a strong market debut on 3rd June, listing at a 19 percent premium. The stock opened at Rs. 125 on the BSE versus its issue price of Rs. 105, and at Rs. 120 on the NSE, reflecting a 14.29 percent gain. The company’s Rs. 168-crore IPO was open for subscription from 27th May to 29th May.

Incorporated in 2008, Prostarm Info Systems Limited is engaged in the business of design, manufacturing, assembly, and supply of energy storage and power conditioning equipment, with a diverse portfolio spanning UPS systems, inverter systems, lift inverter systems, solar hybrid inverter systems, lithium-ion battery packs, servo-controlled voltage stabilisers, and isolation transformers, among others.
In addition to the core manufactured products, it also provides comprehensive power solutions through the sale and supply of third-party power solution products such as batteries, reverse logistics/end-of-life products, and other products such as solar panels and allied products.
The company is into end-user computing, where it provides IT solutions which include the supply of IT assets like desktop computers, all-in-one computers, laptops, notebooks, printers, scanners, printer cum scanner (MFM), along with UPS, installation, commissioning and warranty services.
The customer base of Prostarm Info Systems spans railways, aviation, manufacturing, logistics, oil & gas, defence, healthcare, BFSI, telecom, retail, education, and government institutions. In 2020, the company entered the healthcare and defence sectors with key contracts.
The company serves a distinguished roster of marquee clients across major industries, including Tata, Adani, L&T, Delhi Metro, BHEL, Indian Oil, GAIL, BPCL, RailTel, among others.
Order Book
As of September 2025, Prostarm Info Systems holds a strong order book comprising 108 projects with a total value of Rs. 1,056.3 crores, while an additional 11 projects worth Rs. 9.3 crores are in L1 status. A significant 89 percent of the order book is contributed by government contracts, with the remaining 11 percent coming from private-sector clients.
The bulk of the confirmed orders is driven by the BESS segment, which alone accounts for Rs. 893.8 crores. The Manufactured Power Solution Products segment contributes Rs. 22.8 crores through orders for inverter systems, RDSO, lithium solution systems, servo stabilisers, solar inverter systems, UPS systems, and other related products.
Third-party manufactured power-solution products add Rs. 40 lakhs, while the Value-Added Services segment brings in nearly Rs. 16 crores. The End User Computing category contributes Rs. 123.2 crores, rounding out the total order value.
In the L1 category, Manufactured Power Solution Products lead with Rs. 9.1 crores, driven mainly by UPS systems and RDSO solutions, while third-party products contribute another Rs. 20 lakhs.
Manufacturing Units
The company operates three manufacturing units across Pune and Navi Mumbai (Mahape). Unit 1 in Pune produces UPS systems/isolation transformers/servo voltage-controlled stabilisers, with a capacity of 55,500 kVA/kW spread across 16,000 sq. ft. and a utilisation level of 23 percent.
Unit 2, also located in Pune, manufactures UPS systems, solar hybrid inverter systems, lift inverter systems, inverter systems, and other power-solution products. This facility has a capacity of 60,000 kVA/kW and covers 24,000 sq. ft., operating at 23 percent utilisation.
Unit 3 in Navi Mumbai focuses on lithium-ion battery packs, with a capacity of 1 lakh kWh across a 7,501 sq. ft. area and a utilisation rate of 19 percent.
Financial Highlights
In Q2 FY26, Prostarm Info reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 66 crores, a growth of nearly 20 percent QoQ, but a decline of nearly 14 percent YoY. Meanwhile, its net profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 8.3 crores, representing an impressive increase of nearly 354 percent QoQ but a decline of nearly 40 percent YoY, over the same period. Between FY22 and FY25, Prostarm Info Systems’ revenue grew at a 3-year CAGR of nearly 27 percent, while net profit surged at a CAGR of more than 38 percent.
