Snoop Dogg is set to headline the halftime entertainment for Netflix’s NFL Boxing Gameday, bringing his Holiday Halftime Party to Australian audiences early Boxing Day.
The global superstar will take centre stage during the Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings matchup, airing live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on December 25 in the U.S., known stateside as Christmas Gameday.
This marks the second year Netflix will broadcast the U.S. Christmas Day NFL event, following its debut coverage in 2024.

For local viewers, the spectacle lands on the morning of December 26, with Netflix’s wide reach potentially opening the NFL to new audiences and adding to what could become a Boxing Day morning viewing tradition.
Snoop Dogg will perform at halftime alongside special guests, with the show airing to Netflix’s global base of more than 300 million members.
The performance follows last year’s inaugural Netflix NFL showcase, which featured Beyoncé’s much talked about halftime appearance during the Ravens vs Texans game.
The announcement builds on Netflix’s broader entertainment offering around its NFL coverage this year, with Kelly Clarkson also confirmed to perform as part of the Boxing Day showcase.
Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria said the pairing of the NFL and Snoop Dogg reflected the scale of the Christmas Day event, bringing together two globally recognised names for the holiday broadcast.
“Christmas Gameday just got a whole lot cooler. We’re uniting two global cultural juggernauts, the NFL and the one and only Snoop Dogg.”
NFL Boxing Gameday on Netflix will feature two live games. Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Commanders will air at 5.00am AEDT, followed by Lions vs Vikings at 8.30am AEDT, with pregame coverage beginning from 3.00am AEDT.
