Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has launched development work in various areas, including a major pipeline replacement project in Lahore.
According to the company, Sui Northern will replace 209 kilometers of gas pipelines in Lahore as part of its infrastructure upgrade plan. The initiative aims to ensure stable gas supply and improved pressure for consumers by replacing old and worn-out pipelines.
For the Lahore West Region, SNGPL has allocated a budget of Rs. 630 million, while the Lahore East Region has received an approved allocation of Rs. 1.25 billion for pipeline replacement and related works.
The company said that during the current financial year, a total of 330 kilometers of gas pipelines will be replaced across different areas.
