According to Boston Magazine, a new restaurant called Moro Mou is slated to open in the Seaport this summer, and it’s not your typical waterfront spot. The intimate concept will feature just 15 seats and a multi-course omakase experience that blends Greek ingredients with Japanese techniques. Think seafood-forward dishes, fermentation, and a whole lot of attention to detail.
The project comes from restaurateur Demetri Tsolakis and the Xenia Greek Hospitality team, the same people behind popular spots like Kaia, Bar Vlaha, and Krasi, so expectations are already high.
Boston Magazine reports the name Moro Mou translates to “my baby” in Greek, and the whole experience is meant to feel personal and poetic, with a menu designed to unfold like a love letter to guests.
While most of the group’s restaurants lean fully Greek, this one will explore the overlap between Greek and Japanese food and culture, pairing meticulous omakase service with warm, hospitality-driven vibes.
