A TV anime adaptation of the Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter (Hone Dragon no Mana Musume) manga has been announced with a teaser visual.

OSHI NO KO Season 2 co-assistant director Kuniyasu Nishina is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. KUSANAGI will be the background art studio for the show. Other production credits include:

The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter manga by Ichi Yukishiro began serialization on MAG Garden’s MAGCOMI service in 2020 and has six volumes as of 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the synopsis as such:
In a faraway land, there exists a forest where all manner of beings go to dispose of their trash. One day, a young girl named Eve is abandoned along with the usual debris, but she is quickly found by an aging dragon who decides to take her in and raise her as its own. Under this ancient being’s watchful eye, Eve grows up happy and healthy, but soon their peaceful life together is interrupted by impending tragedy. Yet months later, Eve does something truly astonishing for the sake of reuniting with her dragon guardian…
