The Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjo website has announced that the new Doraemon anime film will be the first to be screened in 4D (MX4D and 4DX).
A new visual and trailer were released with the announcement. There’s also a video where Doraemon, Nobita, and actress Airi Taira provide an introduction to the 4D experience.

Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjo will start screening in Japan on February 27. The 45th Doraemon anime film is a remake of 1983’s Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil (Doraemon: Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjo).
The Doraemon manga by the late duo Fujiko F. Fujio began serialization in 1969 under publisher Shogakukan. 46 tankobon volumes were published between 1974 and 1996 under the Tentomushi Comics label. A Volume 0 was released in 2019.
The first Doraemon TV anime series began airing in 1973, while the current TV series began in 2005. 1980’s Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur was the first anime film in the franchise.
