Seven has bolstered its cricket coverage ahead of a massive Big Bash League season, welcoming one of the game’s newest breakout names to the fold.
Rising star Sam Konstas has officially signed on as a 7Cricket ambassador, bringing a fresh face to the network’s summer cricket coverage and engaging with fans across screens.
The announcement was made live on Sunrise this morning, with the 19-year-old confirmed to join Seven’s cricket team around his playing schedule.

Konstas will feature across 7Cricket social channels, 7plus Sport coverage and network promotions throughout BBL 15 and beyond.
A right-handed top-order batter, Konstas burst onto the national scene during the 2024 Boxing Day Test against India.
He produced a standout debut with 60 runs, including 50 runs from 52 balls, etching his name into the history books as the third fastest Australian debutant to reach a half century in Test cricket.
Speaking on his new role, Konstas said he was excited to partner with the network he grew up watching.
