Seven Hills home of Lachie and Jules Neale sells for .2m at auction in Brisbane

The luxury home of Jules Neale and her estranged husband, two-time Lions premiership star Lachie Neale, has sold for $3.2 million at auction in Brisbane.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom house — with all the bells and whistles — was put up for sale last month following the very public breakdown of their marriage amid reports of infidelity.

Swirling speculation about the couple’s marriage in December prompted Ms Neale to confirm they had split. “I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,” she said in a statement. “I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way. All I can do now is to to heal and do what’s best for my children.”

In early January, the two-time Brownlow medallist also confirmed the separation and stood down as co-captain.

There have been claims of an affair between Neale and Jules Neale’s best friend Tess Crosley. But earlier this month, Ms Crosley’s family defended her amid the continuing storm.

Her mother, Kaz Caesar, said her daughter wasn’t the only “villain”.

“There are four people involved, and none of them are innocent; however, one person has been allowed to be the villain and told to keep quiet right from the beginning,” she posted.

The Neales bought the spacious two-storey home in the affluent Brisbane suburb of Seven Hills for $2.43 million during the pandemic.

It boasts high ceilings and timber flooring throughout, complemented by louvred windows and sky lights with automatic shutters.

A gourmet kitchen equipped with top of the line appliances, butler’s pantry and wine cellar, flows to the alfresco area with pool and sauna.

Covering almost 700sqm, it also has space for a three-car garage with epoxy flooring.

Sold by McGrath Estate Agents, the auction was held in the living room, away from prying cameras.

Bidding started at $2.5m, with the final drop of the hammer closing on $3.2m to a family of five.

It comes after Jules Neale took to social media to showcase her 36th birthday celebrations in Perth. A series of snaps, soundtracked by Olivia Dean’s ‘Ladies Room’, shows a beaming Ms Neale surrounded by cake, balloons and friends.

She recently moved back to her home state of WA with children, Piper and Freddie, whom she shares with Neale, who was recruited to Fremantle from South Australia in 2011.

The couple moved to Brisbane after Neale was traded to the Lions in late 2018.

Brisbane has suggested the club won’t stand in his way if Neale requests a transfer to Western Australia to be near his two children in the future.

However, he has committed to playing the 2026 season at Brisbane.
