The ongoing May I Ask For One Final Thing? TV anime series unveiled a new visual last week, highlighting the showdown between Scarlet and Terenezza. The anime began broadcasting in Japan on October 3, 2025 and will air for 13 episodes.

In addition, a special “battle scene” music video of the anime’s main opening theme “Senjo no Hana” by CHICO with HoneyWorks was released, which compiles various moments of Scarlet’s brutal beatdowns.
Kazuya Sakamoto (She and Her Cat: Everything Flows) is directing the anime series, with Deko Akao (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream) as series composer and Eriko Haga (Kaginado) as character designer. LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production, while LIDENFILMS Tokyo Studio is credited with the show’s main production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

The series started as a web novel by Nana Otori on AlphaPolis on April 10, 2018. It was then published as a light novel series on August 6, 2018 with new illustrations by Satsuki. Seven volumes have been released as of December 2025.
The light novels later inspired a manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki in June 2019, which is currently published in English on the Alpha Manga app. AlphaPolis later announced this past November that an English print version of the manga will arrive in Spring 2026.
