Sangeeta is a senior Pakistani film and television actress and a renowned director. Her notable dramas include Kis Din Mera Viyah Howe Ga, Meri Behen Meri Dewarani, Bari Phupo, Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewa, and others. She has also directed the hit Lollywood films like Society Girl, Nikah, and Sona Chaandi. These days, Sangeeta is directing a mega drama series titled Bhulley Shah, starring Saima, Shahid, Ayesha Fayyaz, Kamran Mujahid, and Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz.
Today, Sangeeta joined Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine via a Zoom call and talked about her upcoming drama serial Bhulley Shah. She also exposed senior Pakistani television actor Nauman Ijaz’s unprofessional attitude.
Speaking about Nauman Ijaz, Sangeeta said, “Nauman Ijaz took full payment three years ago and refused to work in the drama when the shoot started. He kept giving excuses, saying ‘I got sick, I had a heart attack, I got cancer.’ He didn’t return even after doing one day of shooting. I have the recording of that shooting, but he still didn’t show up. He also picturized a song. Initially, he kept the project hanging for two years, saying he was sick. Then he said it was summer and he couldn’t wear a fake beard. Then he said, ‘Resolve your issues first.’ I gave him full payment, which he has not returned. His son is playing the young Bhulley Shah; I wanted him as the older Bhulley Shah. Now, I have cast another artist. It’s a mega drama series — we have spent around 8 crores so far.” Here is the link to the video:
