Samantha Ruth Prabhu-Raj Nidimoru relationship
Their bond traces back to 2021, when Samantha collaborated with Raj for her digital debut in The Family Man Season 2. The professional connection strengthened when they reunited for Citadel: Honey Bunny, which took them across various shooting locations—setting the stage for their relationship to blossom.
In 2024, Samantha purchased the Chennai franchise of the World Pickleball League, and Raj was often seen accompanying her at the matches. Later, when she launched her production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, she shared photos that included Raj, further intensifying dating rumours.
In September, Samantha sparked conversation when she posted about love and self-growth in her thirties, writing, “No one told me I was already whole… Then came my thirties. Something softened. Something opened.” Although she didn’t name anyone, fans immediately connected the post to her growing closeness with Raj.

Speaking about her ring, an expert told Hindustan Times, “Samantha wore a beautiful portrait-cut diamond ring that features the rare and exquisite Portrait Cut — a very thin, flat diamond with a large top surface and almost no depth. This historic cut was originally used in Mughal-era jewellery to cover miniature paintings and royal portraits, which is how it earned the name ‘portrait cut’.”
When Samantha asked why life was unfair to her
In 2022, shortly after announcing her divorce, Samantha sat down with spiritual leader Sadhguru. Reflecting on the upheaval in her life, she asked whether life’s injustices were tied to past karma. Sadhguru candidly replied, “Do you still expect the world to be fair to you? The world is not fair. It will not be fair.”
Following her separation, Samantha faced intense trolling and stigma. Speaking to Galatta India, she said, “Once a woman goes through a divorce, there’s a lot of shame attached to it… You are pushed to a corner where you are supposed to feel like a failure. I believe it can be really hard for the families and girls who have gone through that.”
