Saba Hameed Breaks Silence On Ali Zafar & Meesha Shafi Case

Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi are two prominent Pakistani singers who were embroiled in a huge controversy after Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of harassment in April 2018. The allegations were strongly denied by Ali Zafar and his family, who claimed that the accusations were staged to defame the singer. It is worth noting that Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi had been close friends since their college days and were frequently seen together at social gatherings. They also collaborated on Ali Zafar’s song Chal Dil Mere. However, for the past eight years, both have been engaged in ongoing legal battles following the harassment case, which remains under trial in court.

Recently, Saba Hameed, Meesha Shafi’s mother, has been attending court proceedings on her daughter’s behalf, as Meesha is currently in Canada.

Breaking her silence, Saba Hameed spoke to reporters outside the court. She said “Listen, I cannot say much about the case here because the decision will be announced soon. But we have been fighting this for eight years, and we are not accepting defeat in this matter. Also, how can one speak with someone who has no respect for women?”

While she was addressing the media, Ali Zafar and his wife, Ayesha Fazli, were seen leaving the court premises and driving away in their car. Watch here:
