The official Twitter/X and website for the upcoming Tamon’s B-Side TV anime series have announced the addition of two new cast members. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2026.
The two new cast members are voicing Utage’s younger sister and brother, which include Runa Sasaki as Homare Kinoshita and Ayaka Nanase as Yamato Kinoshita.
They join the anime’s main voice cast, which stars:
- • Saori Hayami as Utage Kinoshita
- • Kakeru Hatano as Tamon Fukuhara
- • Shoya Chiba as Ori Sakaguchi
- • Tasuku Hatanaka as Keito Tachibana
- • Kohei Amasaki as Natsuki Ishibashi
- • Ryuho Nakaoka as Rintaro Kai
Chika Nagaoka (Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram, Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours) is directing the anime adaptation, with Chiaki Nagai (22/7 co-series composer and scriptwriter) as series composer and scriptwriter and Yoko Ito (Delico’s Nursery) as character designer and chief animation director. J.C.STAFF is handling the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the romantic comedy manga series by Yuki Shiwasu, which has been serialized in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine since October 20, 2021. Twelve tankobon volumes have been released as of October 2025.

Viz Media licensed the manga for English release, describing the main premise as:
Tamon is an insecure mess in real life, and what’s worse, he’s threatening to quit! Utage refuses to let anyone stand in Tamon’s way—least of all himself. What’s a fangirl to do but roll up her sleeves and support her favorite singer with everything she’s got?
