Today, Rubina Ashraf appeared on Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir, where she spoke about her experience with COVID and discussed why people fall sick.

Talking about her COVID days, Rubina Ashraf said, “Lately, I felt helpless when I got COVID. When I came back home, I saw everyone doing things for me — even the chores I never let them do. It was something I was not accustomed to seeing. As a woman, I felt guilty about why they were doing all this for me, which is wrong, because we should give ourselves priority before getting sick. After COVID, I saw everyone drained and still working. I spent a month in the hospital, and even after that, I wasn’t able to stand on my own. Once I tried to stand, I fell instantly, after which my husband angrily stopped me from standing by myself. I felt helpless and started crying. Family members take care of you during illness, but it increases your pain when you see them nursing you. I apologized to them. After I regained my senses, I started thinking about how much they did for me and felt guilty. We never let our family get used to our pain, which is why we feel guilty when they do so much for us.”

On another occasion, Rubina Ashraf said that most diseases attack people because of their wrong practices or negligence. She added that the body gets sick to indicate where a person has gone wrong. She emphasized that before getting seriously ill, one should pay attention to symptoms such as migraines, body pain, and other warning signs.

Rubina Ashraf further added that women don’t waste food, but they overeat, which ultimately harms their own health. She said, “Women who eat their children’s leftovers harm their bodies by overeating.”

Rubina Ashraf also posted a picture with her children after recovering from Corona virus. She shared a gratitude note with fans. Read Rubina Ashraf’s story after recovering from COVID in 2020:
