The main cast of the Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force TV anime has been revealed.
Yuna Nemoto is voicing the titular Romelia Von Graham, accompanied by Jin Ogasawara as Al and Tomohiro Ono as Ray.
It was also announced that Romelia War Chronicle‘s director is Hiroshi Shirai (Wish Upon the Pleiades 3D director), and that the production credits include:
• Assistant director: Takahiro Hirata
• Series composition and screenplay: Aya Satsuki (Solo Camping for Two)
• Character designer: Yoshiko Saito (Farming Life in Another World)
• Character designer: Yuta Otaka
• Animation Production: Atra
Romelia War Chronicle will begin airing sometime in 2026. The synopsis reads:
Set in the aftermath of the Demon King’s defeat, Romelia War Chronicle follows Romelia, a noblewoman whose engagement to the prince is suddenly annulled. Determined to rebuild a shattered world, she leads a fledgling army in this postwar tale of courage and renewal.
The anime is based on the light novels written by Ryo Ariyama and illustrated by Kodama. The light novel series, which is published under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Books label, debuted in 2020. There are six main volumes as of 2025.
Romelia War Chronicle was previously a web novel, which began serialization on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2019. There is a manga by Ryo Kamito.
