Just recently, we brought you the news that a third instalment in the Orphan franchise had begun filming.
Now we have even more exciting news, as worldwide distribution has been secured, and further names have joined the cast.
Alongside returning franchise star Isabelle Furhman, Orphans is expected to feature True Blood actor Stephen Moyer and Goodnight Mommy star Susanne Wuest.
Furthermore, although plot details are sparse, it has been confirmed that Orphans will be a further prequel to 2022’s Orphan: First Kill.
More good news comes in the form of worldwide distribution for Orphans. It has been reported that Paramount subsidiary Republic Pictures have picked up Orphans for domestic distribution across the US and Canada.
Lionsgate will distribute the film across Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
Also returning are First Kill director William Brent Bell and screenwriter David Coggeshall.
It remains unclear if the third entry will mirror First Kill and release via streaming alongside a run in theatres, or will have a full theatrical release.
A release date is not known at this time, but Orphans is expected to release sometime in 2026.
