A teaser trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming The Final-Boss Prince Is Somehow Obsessed with the Chubby Villainess: Reincarnated Me TV anime series during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2026. It has not yet been announced when the anime is scheduled to be released.
Character designs for Celine, Wilfred, Lewis, and Adele were also released on the anime’s official website.
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Bikini Warriors) is directing the anime series, with Shusaku Kato as assistant director, Fumino Kakihata and Yukiko Sekita as character designers, and Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend) as series composer and scriptwriter. Studio Lings is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars Haruka Shiraishi as Celine and Takeo Otsuka as Wilfred.
The fantasy webtoon manga series is written by Kotoko and drawn by Kaname Hanamiya, with weavin credited as the publisher and Minto Studio listed in the author section with Kotoko and Hanamiya. It began serialization on the Mecha Comic and Comico Japan websites on April 17, 2023. Five digital volumes have been released in Japan as of February 2026. The physical volumes are published by Kadokawa Shoten under the FLOS COMIC imprint.
The manga’s full Japanese title is Odebu Akujo ni Tenseishitara, Naze ka Last Boss Oji-sama ni Shuchaku sareteimasu.
