A TV anime adaptation of The Final-Boss Prince is Somehow Obsessed with the Chubby Villainess: Reincarnated Me webtoon has been announced with a teaser visual.
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Bikini Warriors) is directing the anime at Studio Lings. with Shusaku Kato as assistant director. Fumino Kakihata and Yukiko Sekita are the character designers, while Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend) is the series composer and scriptwriter.

The lead voice actors are Haruka Shiraishi as Celine and Takeo Otsuka as Wilfred.
The Final-Boss Prince is Somehow Obsessed with the Chubby Villainess: Reincarnated Me (Odebu Akujo ni Tenseishitara, Naze ka Last Boss Oji-sama ni Shuchaku sareteimasu) webtoon was created by Kotoko and has Kaname Hanamiya as its character designer and artist. weavin is credited as the publisher, while Minto Studio is listed in the author section with Kotoko and Hanamiya. Manga Mirai describes the synopsis as such:
After dying of illness, she has been reincarnated as Celine, the selfish, fat, villainous duchess, sister of the heroine of a popular novel. If she stays this way, she will be killed by the hero prince and die a miserable death, just as in the novel. She vows to reform herself with all her might and begins to struggle, but she finds herself caught up in unexpected doting and obsession..! Will Celine be able to find “peaceful happiness”? A fantasy love story about a reincarnation in another world where she is loved too much by a Yandere.
The fifth volume of the webtoon (digital only at the time of writing) was released on February 14, 2026. The physical volumes are published by KADOKAWA under the FLOS COMIC label.
