‘Rabbit Trap’ Exclusive Clip Is Watching His House [Video]

Dread Central is proud to debut an exclusive clip from Rabbit Trap, a 2025 psychological folk-horror film written and directed by Bryn Chainey in his feature-length debut.

Set in 1976, Rabbit Trap centers on Darcy and Daphne Davenport, a married couple who relocate to an isolated cabin in rural Wales. Seeking solitude and creative focus, their quiet life is disrupted when the music they create inadvertently disturbs a local Tylwyth Teg fairy ring, awakening an ancient force tied to the land. Soon after, a mysterious child arrives at their door—one whose presence suggests something deeply unnatural has been invited inside.

In the exclusive clip, an unwanted visitor is caught lurking, offering a chilling glimpse into the film’s slow-burn unease and the creeping sense that the couple’s isolation has left them dangerously exposed.

Rabbit Trap stars Dev Patel as Darcy Davenport, Rosy McEwen as Daphne Davenport, and Jade Croot as the enigmatic Child. The film is produced by Bankside Films in association with SpectreVision, with Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah among the producers. Patel also serves as an executive producer.

Blending psychological horror with Welsh folklore and an emphasis on sound, ritual, and pastoral dread, Rabbit Trap positions itself firmly in the tradition of intimate, myth-driven genre cinema.
