The Sports Board Punjab (SBP), in collaboration with the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Government of Punjab, has announced trials for the Grade-II cricket team for the President’s Trophy 2025–26.
The trials are scheduled for April 8 and 9 at 9:00 a.m. at the Cricket Academy, Sports Board Punjab, NPSC, Lahore, as part of preparations for the upcoming tournament.
According to the eligibility criteria, players must have participated in at least one of the following levels: international cricket, first-class cricket, Grade-II cricket, district cricket, divisional cricket, Pakistan Under-19, Pakistan Under-19 (last two years), Pakistan Shaheen/Pakistan ‘A’, Pakistan Super League (PSL), district Under-19 (last season), or national Under-17 (last season).
Players are required to bring valid proof or certification to confirm their eligibility on the day of the trial. Only those meeting the stated criteria will be considered for participation in the selection process.
The trials provide an opportunity for eligible players to demonstrate their skills and compete for selection in the Grade-II team.
The Sports Board Punjab has encouraged players to take part in the trials and showcase their talent in order to earn a place in the squad.
