The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sahiwal has declared April 1, 2026 as a local holiday across the district on the eve of the Urs of Hazrat Baba Muhammad Pannah.
According to an official order issued by DC Sahiwal Capt (R) Sami Ullah Farooq, the holiday will be observed within the revenue limits of Sahiwal district.
The notification states that the holiday will mark the Urs celebrations at Kameer in Sahiwal.
It clarifies that the holiday will not affect the examination schedule of the Education Department or any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
The order was issued on March 27, 2026, and has been circulated to relevant government offices and departments for implementation.
