PSL 11 Opens Transfer Window

The 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) transfer window has officially opened and will remain active until Wednesday, 18 March, allowing franchises to complete player moves under the league’s regulations and salary cap framework.

During this period, teams can execute transfers in three permitted categories:

  • Player for Player: Two franchises can swap players directly.
  • Player for Money: A player can be transferred in exchange for an agreed fee paid from the buying team’s remaining salary purse.
  • Player for Player and Money: Franchises can trade players with an additional financial component included in the deal.

The PSL has stressed that all transfers must fit within each franchise’s salary cap, and no move will be considered official until it receives Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) approval in line with PSL 11 rules.

Separately, Multan Sultans have been granted special allowances due to the circumstances surrounding the franchise’s acquisition.

With the consent of other teams and PCB approval, Multan have received a Rs. 1.2 crore increase in their salary cap and permission to make two extra signings.

This raises their maximum squad limit to 22 players, though they will still be restricted to a 20-player matchday squad, in line with the rest of the league.

PSL 11, featuring eight teams, is scheduled to be played across six venues from 26 March to 3 May.
