Prime Video is continuing its push into the Fallout universe with the commissioning of Fallout Shelter, a new unscripted competition series inspired by the iconic franchise.
News of the move into unscripted television comes shortly after the series’ second season premiered in December, picking up after season one’s finale and taking the story into the Mojave wasteland and New Vegas, following a first run that drew more than 100 million viewers worldwide.
The 10 episode series will be produced by Studio Lambert in co production with Kilter Films, and in association with Amazon MGM Studios and Bethesda Game Studios, bringing together teams behind The Traitors, Westworld and the Fallout television series.

Set inside Vault Tec’s bomb proof vaults, Fallout Shelter will place a group of contestants into an immersive world shaped by the franchise’s dark humour, retro futurism and survival themes.

Across a series of escalating challenges and strategic dilemmas, players must rely on teamwork, ingenuity and social decision making as they compete for safety, power and a significant cash prize.
The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, further extending the Fallout brand across scripted, gaming and now unscripted formats.
For Prime Video, Fallout Shelter represents another step in broadening a franchise that has already proven its reach on screen, as the streamer continues to test how established IP can translate beyond traditional scripted storytelling.
Season one of Fallout is available to stream now on Prime Video, with season two continuing to roll out weekly ahead of its finale on February 4, 2026.
A premiere date for Fallout Shelter has yet to be announced.
