PIA Gets Permission for Two Daily Flights to UAE

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been granted permission to operate two daily flights to the United Arab Emirates, according to airline sources.

The sources said the airline is currently operating one flight each to Dubai and Abu Dhabi every day. PIA flights to Riyadh and Madinah are continuing without disruption.

However, flights to Dammam have been temporarily suspended following a missile attack in Bahrain, the sources said. They added that the airline expects to restore the service soon.

According to the sources, flights to Saudi Arabia are currently operating via the Arabian Sea and Yemen route.

Flights to Europe and Canada are being routed through Afghanistan’s Wakhan region and Tajikistan, the sources added.
