Petals of Reincarnation’s 3rd Trailer Reveals April 2 Start Date

A third trailer for the Petals of Reincarnation TV anime has been released, revealing with it an April 2, 23:30 JST (effectively April 3 at 12:30 JST) broadcast start date.

Petals of Reincarnation is based on the Mag Garden-published manga by Mikihisa Konishi. The manga follows unexceptional high schooler Toya Senji, and involves a sword which can bestow a person with the talents of a previous life. Mangamo describes the synopsis as such:

Toya Senji is talentless. He”s tried everything but he can”t seem to excel at anything no matter how hard he tries. Then he meets Haito, a Kendo champion and… humanity”s protector? She uses the Stem of Reincarnation to draw on the abilities of her past lives, but it only works when she slits her own throat. And now she wants Toya to join her?!

The Petals of Reincarnation manga started in 2014 and is currently running on MAGCOMI. Volume 23 will be released on April 10, 2026 (JST).
