As it turned out, Patriots fullback Jack Westover didn’t have to go far to find someone who foresaw the exact matchup of Super Bowl LX.

Despite a Patriots-Seahawks result confounding most prognosticators, Westover shared a funny story about a family member making that exact prediction back in August before the regular season was even underway.

Speaking in a recent radio interview with KJR 93.3 FM, Westover said that his sister has already won thousands for having somehow anticipated the unlikely combination of AFC and NFC champions.

“I think it was during camp she happened to throw $5 on a Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl matchup,” Westover explained. “The payout happened to be $18,000.”

“She’s got her second baby on the way, so she’s well happy about that,” he added.

The nature of the prediction makes sense, given that Westover is a native of Washington, and played college football for the Huskies at the University of Washington. After going undrafted in 2024, he signed with Seattle before being cut prior to the regular season. He eventually joined the Patriots’ practice squad. In 2025, he switched from tight end to fullback, becoming a regular contributor on both offense and special teams.

The Patriots will play the Seahawks starting at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, when Super Bowl LX kicks off at Levi’s Stadium.
