Samajwadi Party MP from Uttar Pradesh, Dharmendra Yadav, says that the whole country listens to the words of PM Narendra Modi, adding that the popularity of the Indian PM is going down as the value of the rupee is decreasing substantially.
Mr. Yadav asks when India will grow above foreign countries in terms of the value of the rupee.
Minister of Finance, Nirmala Sitharaman, says that in a global survey held two months ago, the popularity of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is above all the world leaders.
Mr. Sitharaman says, “you should listen when a question is answered,” as the Opposition MPs raise slogans against her speech.
She adds that “the economy of India is very strong.” She says India has been maintaining a good fiscal deficit for the last five years.
She adds that India’s foreign exchange reserve is very solid, as the growth of the rupee is going very fine.
